Queen Anne is one of Seattle's most scenic and desirable neighborhoods, perched on a prominent hill with stunning panoramic views of the Space Needle, downtown skyline, Puget Sound, and the Olympic Mountains. The neighborhood is divided into Upper Queen Anne — a quiet residential area at the top of the hill — and Lower Queen Anne, also known as Uptown, which sits at the base of the hill adjacent to Seattle Center and is a bustling commercial district. Kerry Park on W Highland Drive is arguably the most photographed viewpoint in all of Seattle, offering the iconic view of the Space Needle with the downtown skyline behind it. The park has a small public restroom facility that is open during park hours. Given the park's popularity, especially at sunrise and sunset, the restroom can sometimes have a line. It's worth going before heading up to secure your spot for the perfect photo. Kinnear Park on the western slope of Queen Anne Hill is a larger neighborhood park with more spacious accessible restroom facilities. The park has sports fields, tennis courts, and picnic areas, and is a popular spot for families and dog walkers. The restrooms are located near the main entrance and parking area. Seattle Center, located at the base of Queen Anne Hill, has multiple large public restroom facilities spread throughout the campus. The Center is home to the Space Needle, the Museum of Pop Culture (MoPOP), Pacific Science Center, Climate Pledge Arena, and numerous other attractions. Restrooms at Seattle Center are generally clean and well-maintained, open during event and venue hours. Lower Queen Anne has several coffee shops and restaurants along Queen Anne Ave N and the streets surrounding Seattle Center that have customer restrooms. The area gets very busy on event nights at Climate Pledge Arena, so planning ahead is wise. Queen Anne is served by several Metro bus routes and is walkable from Seattle Center and Lower Queen Anne. The upper hill is steep, so comfortable footwear is recommended if you're planning to walk between Upper and Lower Queen Anne.
